There Is One Body, And One Spirit…

The Holy Bible is the inerrant, infallible Word of God. Every Word was Breathed into existence by God through the Holy Spirit.

People look around at their life and wonder how they arrived in the place where they find themselves. Many have no clue how it happened. Still others believe their self-will somehow propelled them into an impossible situation, while never once considering the stories within the Holy Bible that were written to explain precisely how we arrive at different junctions in our life. It is not happenstance, it is not our self-will, it is not by “luck” or coincidence. No, it is through providence and nothing else. God stitched together our lives before we were in our mothers womb. God stitched together all the ups, downs and moments of separation from Him and all the deep talks and long walks in His presence. God placed it all in our story. It is His story through our existence.

We are made in God’s image.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. ~ Genesis 1:27 KJB

If one believes this then one must believe that we are not of ourselves but we are, in fact, of God. We are His and He is us. We should act like it. If we “act as-if” then our lives will be far different. If we “act as-if” our lives will be set on a plane so high that we will walk with God with every step taken.

If we come to accept this reality then we can see how Jesus Christ saves our life by us giving our life away. We can grasp the concept of “following Him”. We can live in the reality of Jesus Christ is in the Father and the Father is in Jesus Christ and They are in us and we are in Them. This concept, this reality, becomes quiet easy to accept.

And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~ Romans 12:2 KJB

Living in His will, seeking, asking and knocking, first, in order to encounter Christ with each breath taken, with each step made, before…BEFORE either has manifested will set our life on a narrow path that we may enter through the narrow gate. A life lived for Jesus Christ is magnificent, beautiful and inspiring. It is a life that He, Jesus Christ Himself, wants us to live. Why wouldn’t we at the very least give it a try?

And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become… ~ Mark 1:17 KJB

What we become is what Jesus Christ determines for our purpose. How many times have we heard the saying “If you do what you love you will never work a day in your life.”? What are we suppose to believe that means? From where did such a saying originate? Maybe from someone coming to realize that if they live the life God has for them it is not work, but a purpose. In our Christ Identity purpose we don’t actually work, we just are.

With the Disciples Jesus was beginning His Ministries and needed missionaries to spread the Word, the Gospel. Jesus needed men to go all around the known world in order for the Word of God to spread as far as possible. Jesus needed people, with a variety of Identities to share The Message.

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Wherefore He saith,
When He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive,
And gave gifts unto men. ~ Ephesians 4:4-8 KJB

Paul, after his transformation from Saul, explains to us who we could potentially be in the Kingdom of God. We are not all intended to be missionaries like the original Twelve Disciples. We are all intended to carry the Message within our purpose and our Christ Identity.

And He gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: ~ Ephesians 4:11-13 KJB

Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular. And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. ~ 1 Corinthians 12:27-28 KJB

We are to be one with Jesus, who is One with the Father of all whom lives in us all and we live in both Jesus and the Father. When we act as-if then He will make us to become…

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
