Which I Give Unto The Children…

Has the Lord, our God, ever once let us down? Is God, in the name of Jesus Christ, even capable of turning His back on us or leaving us abandoned in the wilderness?

Who are we? Are we not a child of God or are we whatever the devil calls us in this moment? Those that refer to themselves as an addict, a loser, a terrible son / brother / husband / dad, or in the feminine, are accepting the lies of the enemy, the devil himself, who is stealing – yes, stealing – your Christ identity. We are to walk, live and breathe our Christ identity and when we do we, like David and like Joshua and Caleb, are able to overcome giants, mountains, villages and other “scary” “fearful” things that only exist in our mind.

We are to be transformed in our mind and not conform to the things of this world. We are to seek, first, the will of God and then, with our minds transformed and bound to the Mind of Christ, we can prove our God’s good, acceptable and perfect will of God for all the world to see.

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them. ~ Numbers 13:1-2 KJB

It is when we leave our Christ Identity behind that troubles not only follow us but know exactly how to manipulate our weak points and exploit our relationship with God. When we set aside our Identity in Christ nothing good comes from it. When we boldly go before our enemies in our Christ Identity, which He calls us, in which God leads us and when we are dressed in His Whole Armor how can anyone be against us?

And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it. ~ Numbers 13:30 KJB

As Caleb walks in the Whole Armor of God, taking direction only from God, Caleb is confident in the Lord that the land before them, which God has promised, will be theirs and theirs alone. The strongholds before them will crumble, the fruit of the land will flourish under His command and the honey will flow freely.

But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we. And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight. ~ Numbers 13:31-33 KJB

The others have given their identity over to the enemy and the enemy calls them a grasshopper and the weak in spirit happily accept this lie and even as much repeat the lie to confirm they accept it.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
