He Has Done Whatsoever He Pleases…

He Has Done Whatsoever He Pleases…

When we make silver and gold our idles we are falling into a trap that is made by the evil one. The devil wants us to think of ourselves as a god. The devil wants us to see ourselves as equal to a god and worship anything but the God of All, the great I Am. Once the devil convinces us of this lie then he has us in his clutches. The chains the devil uses are made of rice paper with the appearance of titanium coated in carbon fiber. This is just another lie that weak men and women chose to see. These chains will fall away at the first vapor from their mouth proclaiming the Lord of All, God Almighty, is the Truth, the Way and the Life. Give it a try and see what happens.

Wherefore should the heathen say,
Where is now their God? ~ Psalms 115:2 KJB

Our praise should be loud, should be everlasting and should be on our tongue from dawn to dusk and dusk to dawn. Our praise breaks chains made of nothing more than rice paper. Our praise tears down prison walls made of balsa wood toothpicks.

But our God is in the heavens:
He has done whatsoever He pleases.
Their idols are silver and gold,
The work of men’s hands.
They have mouths, but they speak not:
Eyes have they, but they see not:
They have ears, but they hear not:
Noses have they, but they smell not:
They have hands, but they handle not:
Feet have they, but they walk not:
Neither speak they through their throat.
They that make them are like unto them;
So is every one that trusts in them. ~ Psalms 115:3-8 KJB

When do we awaken? When do our eyes see, ears hear and turn back to God? What does it take?

It takes believers living a life that has turned back to God. It takes believers living their life in the Lord so the whole world can see. It takes believers knowing everything they do, every step taken, every breath drawn, every word uttered and everything created with their hands to be given unto the Lord. All praise, honor and glory are His and His alone.

When we no longer accept sports, our bank account, our house, our spouse, gambling, sex, food, exercise, work or a million other things as our god, we can turn back to the One True God that is the Father of All.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
