Even From The Rebellious…

Even From The Rebellious…

Some days we should spend praising God all the day long. We should make time to do nothing more than count our blessings as to remind ourselves of the goodness of God. It is because of God’s goodness that we have breathe, that we a roof over our head and food on the table. We did not provide these things, yes, we did gather some of the items, but it was God who made it possible for us to gather them. For this we give Him all praise in this day and all the days to come. The Lord, through Jesus Christ, is our God, Emmanuel, God with us.

You have ascended on high,
You have led captivity captive;
You have received gifts among men,
Even from the rebellious,
That the Lord God might dwell there.
Blessed be the Lord,
Who daily loads us with benefits,
The God of our salvation! ~ Psalms 68:18-19 NKJB

Although some may turn their back to God for long periods of their life, even the rebellious turn back to God, even if it is only for a moments breath, they know, they accept and they recognize God has caused all the goodness in their lives. It may be nothing more than a fleeting moment but even the hardest of hearts softens just enough to see the beauty of God.

While those that are led by the evil one may walk in wickedness they still know and understand that God, the God of all that is Holy and righteous, is the God over their lives. Even as they are brought from the depths of darkness and unholiness they see the procession of God marching into their heart.

They have seen Your procession, O God,
The procession of my God, my King, into the sanctuary. ~ Psalms 68:24 NKJB

Count blessings everyday and somedays count them all the day long. Sing praise to our God, our Savior, Jesus Christ that He may know we love Him, that we need Him and we are grateful for being under His wing. Without His shelter, without His strength we would have nothing; we would be nothing.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
