Rescue Me And Deliver Me…

Rescue Me And Deliver Me…

As we serve the Lord, our God, we often times fail, or at least, what we see is failure. Our greatest tool remains prayer and meditation. Our prayers, draped in humility, supplication and thanksgiving will always be answered. The answer my not be in the moment of prayer nor may it be the exact answer we were seeking, but all prayers are answered, we just need be aware of what we find.

For the enemy has persecuted my soul;
He has crushed my life to the ground;
He has made me dwell in darkness,
Like those who have long been dead.
Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me;
My heart within me is distressed.
I remember the days of old;
I meditate on all Your works;
I muse on the work of Your hands.
I spread out my hands to You;
My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. ~ Psalm 143:3-6 NKJB

Our Lord will not leave us, He will never leave us and He will always provide Living Water for our thirsty soul. We must live in the knowledge of how beautiful our lives are when we walk with God, in the name of Jesus Christ. It is because of God that we have breath in our lungs and once we meditate on this one Works of our Lord everything else should be easy. Without breath, we have nothing. While we are walking in what we perceive to be darkness, God is shining His light guiding our path. While we believe we are being crushed to death by the enemy, we are actually be reshaped to become His child, a child of God. How can we live without our Lord? How can we not sing His praises?

I will sing a new song to You, O God;
On a harp of ten strings I will sing praises to You,
The One who gives salvation to kings,
Who delivers David His servant
From the deadly sword.
Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners,
Whose mouth speaks lying words,
And whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood—
That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth;
That our daughters may be as pillars,
Sculptured in palace style; ~ Psalm 144:9-12 NKJB

How can we not see the Beauty of God in all our days? When God delivers us from our enemies, which are many, how can any man say there is no God, there is no Higher Power that directs our lives as we Trust His guidance? When we call upon God, in the name of Jesus Christ, He, our Lord, will raise our sons up to be as strong, sturdy plants and our daughters to be sculpted in palatial beauty. How much more could a parent ask for in their children? This is not to be taken lightly.

When we come before the Lord with praise and thanksgiving our lives begin to fill, our homes sing with happy praise and our hearts rejoice with Light and Truth.

As we declare Gods awesome acts to others and the world sees God’s splendor and wonder in the children of our loins the world is transformed. Other men see the glory of God without a word spoken. Moms and Dads throughout the community see the Works of God and begin to seek the same for their house. The world begins to see, the world begins to hear. Our God takes our wretched heart, mind, soul and strength and first He molds, then He works it over and finally He fires it with the highest heat until the polish can not be denied. This vessel is not of this world, it is in the world, but not of this world. Others want the same in their lives, other want their children to be strong, sturdy resilient young men and daughters of sculpted beauty. The community transforms.

Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom,
And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
The Lord upholds all who fall,
And raises up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all look expectantly to You,
And You give them their food in due season.
You open Your hand
And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
The Lord is righteous in all His ways,
Gracious in all His works. ~ Psalm 145:13-17 NKJB

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
