Doctors can now prescribe ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19 in Nebraska By Mary Villareal for Prevention Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson issued a legal opinion on October 14, saying that his office will not seek disciplinary action against doctors who prescribe ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine as off-label drugs to treat or prevent Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). The legal opinion is in response to a request from Nebraska Department of Health CEO Dannette Smith.
