What Does God Want Us To Do?

What Does God Want Us To Do?

In recent months we have been witnessing the formation of two opposing sides that I would call Biblical: the children of light and the children of darkness. The children of light constitute the most conspicuous part of humanity, while the children of darkness represent an absolute minority. Source

When was the last time the Steps of Redemption and Salvation were discussed in your house? God makes it abundantly clear that those that follow His Light are His children. Those that are separated from Him and His Light are still His children, they simply decided to operate in their will instead of God’s will.

These two sides, which have a Biblical nature, follow the clear separation between the offspring of the Woman and the offspring of the Serpent. Source

What does God want us to know in this day? What does God want us to know about this situation or that circumstance? What does God want us to do? All we have to do is ask Him, be still and quiet and He will happily tell each one of us.

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, raised his voice and said to them, “Men of Judea and all who dwell in Jerusalem, let this be known to you, and heed my words. For these are not drunk, as you suppose, since it is only the third hour of the day. But this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel:
And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God,
That I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh;
Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy,
Your young men shall see visions,
Your old men shall dream dreams.
And on My menservants and on My maidservants
I will pour out My Spirit in those days;
And they shall prophesy.
I will show wonders in heaven above
And signs in the earth beneath:
Blood and fire and vapor of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness,
And the moon into blood,
Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.
And it shall come to pass
That whoever calls on the name of the Lord
Shall be saved.’ ~Acts of the Apostles 2:14-21 NKJB

The Holy Spirit is one of God’s greatest gifts to humanity. The key to our mental health is tied to giving thanks to God. Giving thanks to God in every situation helps our mental stability. This is the Holy Spirit working with us. As our mental health is strengthened by the Holy Spirit our emotional health becomes God fortified. Loving God with all our heart, all our mind and our strength sounds like a situation the Holy Spirit would be able to help. Why don’t we call on Him right now? Why don’t we call on Him with every step; every breath; every blink of our eye?

Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
