5. Nitrates and nitrites
A study published in the journal Cancer has linked nitrate-containing cold cut meats and hot dogs to the formation of bladder cancer. Most red meat cold cuts contain nitrates and nitrites for preserving and coloring meats, but they are both precursors to N-nitroso compounds (NOCs) that induce tumors in human organs. In fact, sodium nitrite forms some of the most highly carcinogenic chemical compounds ever recorded regarding food ingredients.
And now the question remains: Why are nitrates in medications prescribed for heart pain, angina, and chest pain? The side effects include headaches, dizziness and nausea – and it’s no wonder why – it’s poison!
Mercury is the most toxic non-radioactive element on earth, and we have been advised for years to watch our intake of certain fish due to mercury content. Why then is it still an approved ingredient in the influenza vaccine? The EPA has set a safety limit of 5 micrograms of mercury, labeled as thimerosal in multi-dose influenza vaccines, but there are 25 micrograms in one average flu shot.
That means that children who are vaccinated simultaneously with multiple vaccines can receive over 10 times the safety limit of mercury in one day.
7. High fructose corn syrup
High fructose corn syrup is concentrated corn sugar often loaded with cancer-causing and Alzheimer-contributing pesticides. These should be avoided at all costs.
8. Sodium fluoride
Fluoride is found in most of the water that is pumped through municipal tap water systems throughout the US. This action has been sanctioned by the US federal and state governments, via the EPA.
