Without Fear Of Evil…

Without Fear Of Evil…

In our brokenness we are like fools. We have turned from wise Counsel and placed our feet on the track of evil. The more we move towards evil and live with evil the deeper the pit becomes.

If they say, Come with us, let us lay wait for blood,
Let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause:
Let us swallow them up alive as the grave;
And whole, as those that go down into the pit:
We shall find all precious substance,
We shall fill our houses with spoil:
Cast in thy lot among us;
Let us all have one purse:
My son, walk not thou in the way with them;
Refrain thy foot from their path: ~ Proverbs 1:11-15 KJB

We do not have to be weak in our flesh, but when pain comes calling it is far easier to consent.

When darkness engulfs our lives the Comforter is difficult to see, our Counselor is near, but our skin has become numb to His presence. Our mind is selfish, self-centered and self-serving. We see our brothers and sisters in Christ as the next meal to be devoured, not knowing or understanding no matter how much treasure we steal our net will come up empty. We are hard, ugly and eating ourselves alive from within. How long shall we live in the ignorance of evil?

How many will remain in darkness we do not know. How many of our brothers and sisters will be unable to look up from their bottom to see the light, we do not know. How many more times will we go into the harvest field only to laughed at, mocked and called a weak fool, we do not know.

Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer;
They shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
For they hated knowledge,
And did not choose the fear of the LORD:
They would have none of my counsel:
They despised all my reproof.
Therefore they shall eat of the fruit of their own way,
And be filled with their own devices. ~ Proverbs 1:28-31 KJB

We do not have to live like this. Some will develop ears to hear and eyes to see. They will be welcomed into the Kingdom with much fanfare. The rejoicing will be heard throughout the land and the people will praise our Lord for such a gift as the return of our lost child.

But whoever listens to me will dwell safely,
And will be secure, without fear of evil.” ~ Proverbs 1:33 NKJB

There is a better way to live. There is another life that awaits us, that harkens us to come. Jesus Christ is calling. He is searching, calling and awaiting our hand to look up from the bottom.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
