And Let Me Not Be Ashamed Of My Hope…
Keeping our heart, mind and soul clear of unclean spirits and unclean thoughts is a key element in staying in close contact with God. If our heart is leading us in ways that make our feet point towards evil, well, that might keep us from being in contact with God. Same with our mind, which is where most of the attacks, from the devil, originate. The devil has been working on his craft almost as long as God has been working on perfecting His law, His ways and His love for us.
One verse that we often quote is Romans 12:2 as it describes perfectly how our mind is at the center of the battle and how we are to be vigilante about rebuking unclean thoughts and unclean spirits that we may continually turn our thoughts to Jesus Christ and His loving grace.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. ~ Romans 12:2 KJB

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
Paul must have been meditating on Psalm 119 as Paul’s thought is a direct reflection of what David wrote so long before. Our heart, mind and soul are to be continually looking to God, continually transforming to be a better servant of the Lord and keeping our heart softened in order to receive His beautiful Living Word.
I hate vain thoughts:
But thy law do I love.
Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word.
Depart from me, ye evildoers:
For I will keep the commandments of my God.
Uphold me according unto thy word, that I may live:
And let me not be ashamed of my hope.
Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe:
And I will have respect unto thy statutes continually. ~ Psalm 119:113-117 KJB
As we continually cast out sinful thoughts our heart and soul will fill with righteous thoughts. As our heart and soul turn towards righteousness our feet will turn towards the narrow gate, through which the narrow path awaits. As we move along the narrow path our feet shall be lit by the Lamp of the Lord and our path will made glorious in the Living Light of our God, Jesus Christ.
Through thy precepts I get understanding:
Therefore I hate every false way.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
And a light unto my path.
I have sworn, and I will perform it,
That I will keep thy righteous judgments. ~ Psalm 119:104-106 KJB
How can we fail, how can we not move closer to God as our heart, mind and soul are continually focused on God, continually moving in the Light of the Lord and having our path lit by the Lamp of Liberty that is our God Almighty? No weapon, no army, no evil can cross our path. We are under His authority, under His wing of righteousness and humbly following His Word that is our salvation and saving grace for every step, every thought and every breath taken. We can not fail, we can not die.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
