The Ax Is Laid At The Root Of The Trees…
We come before Jesus Christ with all our stuff. We hold nothing back and allow ourselves to be vulnerable before Him, in His presence we must be 100% honest. We are to be 100% honest all the time, but if we hold back from Jesus Christ He will not speak to us. Jesus doesn’t not speak to false identities. Useless we lay it all on the floor before Him we are wasting His time and ours.
And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. ~ Matthew 3:10 NKJB
Once we cut down the bad tree the good tree will produce good fruit.

I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. ~ Matthew 3:11 NKJB
This is the beginning of our journey with Jesus Christ. Until this happens we remain separated from God. Until we are honest with who we are, right now, what we are doing in sin, right now, we can not hear from Jesus Christ. He will not speak to a false identity. If we are not honest about what is happening, right now, well, we continue to fool ourselves about being connected to God.
If a person goes to their boss at work, or a child goes before it’s parents after a conversation about what is going on in their work or in their life, we wouldn’t turn them and ask “why”? We wouldn’t and if we did, the odds of them answering a “why” question are very, very slim. Jesus doesn’t answer “why” questions either. Why questions are disrespectful.
What do You want to know about”X”? How did You know to seek that person for the situation? Would You teach me how to know what to ask?
These are the questions to change our lives. These are the questions where the Holy Spirit is fully engaged in our lives and we are able to live in God’s will. These are the questions that show we are seeking and open the door upon which we are knocking.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
