Secular vs Biblical World
What kind of world do you live in – secular or biblical? Do we get to decide or is the decision made for us? Does the fact that I live in the world, as you and I accept it, does that mean I have to live in this world or can I create the world in which God rules and the Lamb is the Light? Only going to Christian retail outlets, spending time with Christians attempting to get closer to God or spreading the Gospel and only allowing Christian entertainment into my sphere of being?
These questions are very difficult to answer but that doesn’t mean we should ignore them or attempt to address them.
When we are baptized in the Holy Spirit and born again a new creature do we hear a loud voice that makes proclamations over our lives? Do we hear anything, what actually changes at the moment of baptism?

We love helping others and believe that’s one of the reasons we are chosen as Ambassadors of the Kingdom, to serve God’s children. We look to the Greatest Commandment as our Powering force.
Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea.
Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. Revelations 21 1:3 NKJV
I fully understand that John of Patmos in the Book of Revelations is discussing “end of days” and some would argue the “very end of time or last days”. If our old life dies and a new life begins, would that not be the “end of days” for the individual? Would that not be our entering into the the Kingdom of Heaven to dwell with God and the Lamb to worship them all the days ahead? If we have been “born anew” then we should be living on “street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass“? Not literally, but our lives should be rich like gold and as transparent as glass because we no longer have anything to hide from God, which is to say nothing to hide from one another.
Is this world merely a stop over on the way to the Promised Land or is this the Promised Land? When lives change and the Lamb of God cleanses our soul are we not transformed into a child of God and no longer living in a secular world? Should we be surrounding ourselves with people that live in the same world – a Biblical world – or should we continue to surround ourselves with people living in a secular world – do we, are we suppose to walk away or continue to live with one foot in the secular world and foot in the Biblical world?
I am all ears and have an open mind and receptive heart to give you my undivided attention to help with these questions.
Below, John offers his insight.
Revelations 21 NKJV
4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
5 Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and faithful.”
6 And He said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.
7 He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.
8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”
