Who Is The Judge…
Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unrighteous, and not before the saints? Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? 1 Corinthians 6:1-2 NKJB
Paul poses 16 different questions in chapter is a mere 20 versus’ in length!! We should probably go about to answer those questions ourselves.
Why would we take any matter before the court – a court run, primarily, by worldly men, instead of taking the matter before the body of the saved? – the church, men of God? We are either a member of the the Kingdom of God or we are not – If we are a member of the Kingdom of God then discernment of the heart should be our guide – we should always seek, first, the will of God. If we seek, first, the will of God how could we not judge what is before us? It is part of our responsibility in order to avoid being an hitched to an unclean cart.
