Things Which Are Not Seen Are Eternal…

The light of the Lord shines through this broken vessel to light the path ahead and to light the path for those to come. It is provided by our Lord, Jesus Christ, that we may find our way and that we may have Light eternal. Our responsibility to Jesus Christ is to be on mission, to share the Light with others. We are not to be hoarders of the Light but rather spreaders of His Light. We are to shine with His glory, for His glory and walk in the glory of God with every step.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. ~ 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 KJB

When others hear our story, our testimony, they catch a fire that needed kindling. We provide the kindling that they may encounter Jesus Christ and God may provide the increase. We plant, God waters and Jesus gives them the Holy Spirit that they, too, may be filled with the Light of Jesus’ glory.

For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. ~ 2 Corinthians 5:1 KJB

When we share we are walking with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is our tongue. God provides the appointment and we need to be aware of His presence at all times. When we are on high alert God moves. When we are listening Jesus Christ speaks and when we obey the Holy Spirit leads. God will never leave us alone, never leave us hanging and will not give us stones for bread.

One of the most powerful tools Jesus Christ provides us, aside from prayer, is our story, our testimony. How He came to us, changed us and restored us to life. We did not do that – Jesus did. We did not breathe life into our lungs – Jesus did. We did not pull ourselves from the shattered pieces of our life – Jesus did. We did not stand ourselves upon solid rock – Jesus did. We give Him the praise, honor and glory and we are restored. We share what He did in our lives and others are restored and a multitude of our sins are covered.

Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. ~ James 5:19-20 KJB

Sharing our testimony turns sinners back to Jesus. Turning sinners back to Jesus’ Truth hides a multitude of our sins. Who wouldn’t want that in their life?

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
