The Sand Of The Sea…

When we find favor in our Lord God, what are we to do? Are we to change our entire life, divide our family, our wealth and our friends in order to protect them from the wrath of God because of our sin? If we sin before God what should the price of our sin be for our family, friends and wealth? Should these areas of our life suffer along with us or should they be spared?

Then Jacob was greatly afraid and distressed: and he divided the people that was with him, and the flocks, and herds, and the camels, into two bands; and said, If Esau come to the one company, and smite it, then the other company which is left shall escape. ~ Genesis 32:7-8 KJB

Should we take God at His Word that is spoken to us and us alone? Should we live in fear if God has told us that He will, not only, deliver us from evil, but will multiply our lives in ways that we can not imagine?

Deliver me, I pray thee, from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau: for I fear him, lest he will come and smite me, and the mother with the children. And thou (God) saidst, I will surely do thee good, and make thy seed as the sand of the sea, which cannot be numbered for multitude. ~ Genesis 32:11-12 KJB

When we accept the Word of God we should no longer “divide our family” divide our friends nor divide our wealth. We should accept the grace and mercy that God has showered upon our lives and we should share it according to His good and acceptable and perfect will for our lives. This should become our testimony to His glory, to His honor and to His praise.

God will not leave us. God will always go before us to protect our path, to oversee our journey and to ensure safe passage. God will not send His one and only Son to die for us in order that we be left on the side of the road in failure and despair. We may find ourselves in hard times, but it is not to ruin our lives it is to rebuild our lives to glorify Him that will make our lives so much richer than we ever imagined.

If we have breath in our lungs we have reason to praise, honor and glorify God. Everything else is gravy.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.

God Almighty we humbly come before in this day to give You all praise, honor and glory for this life You chose us for. Heavenly Father of all it is the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, that we lift over our lives as the Living Water for all that thirst to approach and drink deeply. We ask, first, Heavenly Father, that bind our mind to the Mind of Christ that we would be guided by Your Wisdom and Your Will that we may follow-by-faith perfect path of righteousness. Strengthen us Father that we would be a humble servant to Your children and that we would forgive others as You have forgiven us.
God Almighty, we just ask that You lift up Fred, Mom, Tracey and Betty that their wounds would be healed and their health be fully restored. Father God, we ask that You shower their lives in beauty, love and willingness to seek Your Truth. Place a hedge of protection around my loving wife and raise her up that she may feel Your presence in this moment and in every moment of this day.
