Exceeding Great And Precious Promises…
Followers, believers of the Way, of Jesus Christ, are showered with promises and blessings that can be twisted and turned by the power of lust. Lust may be the first of all sins. For many years it has seemed that pride was at the front of the line regarding sin taking us off course. However, it seems that lust may actually be the first problem we encounter that can bring us to the destruction of our lives.
Lust must be riding shotgun with pride as lust always seems to be on the forefront of most every problem. Adultry, pornograghy, pedophilia, children out of wedlock, abortion, selfishness, self-seeking, self-centeredness. All of these, and many more issues, all spring forth from lust, which is carried by pride.
God has promises for us, precious as they are, our Lord wants us to remain close to Him in order that we may receive all the gifts He has in store for our lives.

As we renew our mind and turn from lust, pride begins to wither. As pride withers gifts abound in our life. As gifts abound in our lives, blessings flow. As blessings take shape in our lives, Living Water becomes the source of our strength. The Living Word becomes our source of wisdom and the Holy Spirit, our Comfort and Counsel, becomes our guide.
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. ~ 2 Peter 1:5-8 KJB
Once we believe this, live this and move in this Power, the Power of Jesus Christ, our life becomes a testimony of His unending love for us, His unending strength that moves through us and His ability to walk us out of the fire we have set in our lives.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
Heavenly Father, God Almighty lift us high as we lift Your name, the name of Jesus Christ over our lives for this world to see. Heavenly Father, we thank You for renewing our mercies every morning and placing our feet upon solid rock. Father God, touch the hearts of Trisha and Fred and give them safe passage in this day as they travel home. Restore Mom’s health and fill her heart with love for her children. Lift up Erik and Christy shower their lives, their children and their farm in favor and love. Wrap Your loving arms, Father God, around Eric and Renee and bless their home with joy, prosperity and good health. God Almighty, touch the heart of Ginger. Let the Holy Spirit fall on her, guede her and comfort her in this day and all the days to come. Strengthen me Father, that I may forgive others as You have so mercifully forgiven me.
