And All That Believed Were Together…

Is Christianity a form of communism? No. Does Christianity support the concept, or idea, of the common good? No. Does Christianity support the idea of charity? Yes. What is the difference?

Communism takes from the producers and gives to the non-productive with no expectation of anything. Simply taking from one group and giving to another for no good reason. The idea of the “common good” is nothing more than a reflection of communism. It is, in fact, the soft-sell, underhanded language of communism. Charity, by contrast, is when one person supports another in restoration of something lost. A loss of health, property or Spiritual foundation. Very significant difference. Usually people that are doing the right thing for their family while the enemy, the devil, places hardship in their path or takes what they were building. If you stand up for your home country and need help in doing so, charity would be the way to make improvements, not go somewhere else and feast off the fat of the land.

When charity is part of our walk we are, factually, bringing people to know Jesus Christ. We are walking in His ways, not ours. Some people do this without accepting that is what they are doing. They are serving the Lord, Jesus Christ, without announcing it or knowing it or accepting it. We are providing a drink of Living Water so the people we help will thirst no more. Our responsibility is to plant the seed of faith, based on love, and our Heavenly Father will provide the water which creates the increase.

And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
and sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need. ~ Acts 2:42-45 KJB

When we work together, in our Christ Identity, we can accomplish much, save many souls and stand the enemy on his ear. When we take advantage of a situation we are following the devil, not the teachings of Christ nor the Apostles.

Fellowship, when we are discussing or working in concert with other Believers in Christ in pursuit of a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ, we are doing His work. When we do these things and break bread, before, during or after, the fellowship grows deeper and when we pray in this setting the fellowship, the brotherhood in Christ becomes a bond that is difficult, if not impossible, to break. Our Lord and Savior becomes the focus of our work, our conversation and our prayers. Our eyes, hands and mind are cleared of any influence from the enemy. There is almost no room for the enemy to break through.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
