Give Unto You The Spirit Of Wisdom and Revelation…
How can we get our identity from the enemy when the enemy only calls us names like “loser”, “failure” and a whole host of other names we have addressed here many, many times? We should not accept a false identity from the devil. We should for ever be moving forward in our Christ Identity as that is the only identity that makes us complete. Our Christ Identity is the only identity that Christ will address. Jesus will tell our false identity to depart as He will not speak to the false, only to the Truth. Jesus will in fact tell the false to depart from Him, get behind Him or tell the false identity, the devil, to flee.
When we repent before the Lord and our false identities are removed, forever, we can then move in our true Christ identity. We can then become who Jesus Christ wanted us to be from the day before we were conceived. We can then become what God knit together in our mothers womb.
having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, to the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. ~ Ephesians 1:5-6 KJB
Seeing a woman give birth gives most of us great pause because of the pain that is involved. When we are born again in the Spirit there is usually a lot of pain. The pain a person feels when being born into the Spirit is not the same and we are by no means belittling the pain of human birth. We are merely pointing to the pain associated with being born. There is pain associated and that pain is real. When we are born again and confess our sins one to another in the presence of God our lives change. Our lives transform as our mind begins to renew and the will of God begins to take it’s rightful place in the forefront of our lives.
that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, ~ Ephesians 1:17-18 KJB
The clarity that comes from the Bible, from the teachings of the Apostles, the Disciples and from the Testimonies of the four Gospels should give us reason for great joy. It is not often found in our world this type of straight forward revelation, wisdom and guidance for our life. With eyes to see and ears to hear our identity in Christ makes clear His teachings.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
