You Be…God Does

A father who has tried many ways of getting his daughter to be frank comes off his pedestal and begins telling her of some of his own difficulties. The prompt and unhesitating response is a flood of confidences and the beginning of a new relationship. ~ Source

Once we come to realize that we should simply follow what God tells us, you know, that “gut feeling”, we find that walls crash down, lies are kicked in and lives begin to change – namely our life and the lives of those we love the most.

It’s not easy letting go and letting God, but if we do it once the second time becomes far easier and so on and so on. We have to listen for God’s Word to be spoken, in our ear, and then if we act upon that which has been said, our lives will be forever changed. If don’t act nothing changes and we stay in the muck and mire.

When we follow the Word of God, spoken directly to us, who do you think is Leading our steps, Lighting our path and Raising our shield? It is not our strength. It is not our ways. It is not our love that brings our family back together, it is the Love of God that we stand in that makes it all possible.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: according as He has chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love: having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He has made us accepted in the beloved. ~ Ephesians 1:3-6 KJB

We are blessed and we don’t act like it. We are without blame before God in the name of Jesus Christ. How can we not tell our sons and daughters what a gift they are, not only to our lives, but to the world? And then show them to just be and let God do.

We aren’t talking about some communist, liberal utopian idea of “let it be” what we are describing is seeking, first, the Kingdom of God and seeking, first, the Mind of Christ. Then acting upon what is revealed. This is one of the things we should be teaching our sons and daughters – how to live in Christ. You be…God does.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
