A Prudent Man Covers Shame…

When we seek, first, the thoughts of God we are putting His will in our mind, which, in turn, creates thoughts previously unknown. These unknown thoughts now have an opportunity to infiltrate our heart making their way to our hands to become manifest as something new.

The thoughts of the righteous are right:
But the counsels of the wicked are deceit. ~ Proverbs 12:5 KJB

As we seek, first, the Kingdom of God, He fills us with joy, relieving us of burden, conquering evil that is attempting to devour our thoughts and He transforms our mind proving that which is the good, acceptable and perfect will of God. We are free by His bond. We are Liberated into His servitude. We are joyous as we Honor, praise and glorify His mighty Works.

How many among us are free? How many among us live in our will and ignore the will of God? How many among us seek, first, the will of God on a daily basis? Quiet time anyone?

The amount of effort, time spent with the Lord Jesus, is a direct reflection of how our day proceeds. When there is little time given to the Lord our days are usually rocky, filled with impossible deadlines and we never seem to get anything done.

On the other hand when we give the Lord Jesus our day, our time, He is in control our day, usually, passes with little fanfare. Boring is good. Excitement arrives when our day is out-of-balance and our prayer time has been little.

The way of a fool is right in his own eyes:
But he that hearkens unto counsel is wise.
A fool’s wrath is presently known:
But a prudent man covers shame. ~ Proverbs 12:15-16 KJB

We come before the Lord, sometimes humbly and sometimes boldly, we just need to come before the Lord and seek, first, His counsel, seek, first, His wisdom and then proceed in His direction allowing the Light of His ways to be the lamp of our path.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
