‘It Was Breaking My Heart’: Fox News Anchor Tears Up, Shares Bible Verse After School Shooting By Tré Goins-Phillips for Faith Wire
Fox News anchor Harris Faulkner broke down in tears Wednesday, just one day after the horrific shooting at an elementary school in Uvalde, Texas, that left at least 19 children and two teachers dead.
After reading the names of several of the children gunned down, Fox News contributor Kaleigh McEnany asked the “Outnumbered” co-host about her decision to post Matthew 19:14 to her Twitter account on Tuesday.

McEnany told Faulkner her Scripture-based post “said it all,” adding, “They were sitting at their desks, but 20 minutes from now yesterday, they entered heaven.”
“I have not heard my words read back; that’s all I have,” said Faulkner, clearly overtaken by emotion. “I was looking at what was on social media and it was breaking my heart that people felt so hopeless. So I tweeted that. Just maybe somebody might see it.”
