Where Can I Go From Your Spirit…

Where Can I Go From Your Spirit…

We are not worthy of God’s love and, certainly not worthy of His grace and mercy. God, through His one and only Son, Jesus Christ, sees fit to shower our lives with mercies renewed every morning and lifts our spirits with love and grace all throughout the day and night. We did nothing to deserve these awe inspiring gifts, our Lord and Master makes it possible with each new morning. While we may not worthy, God makes it so.

LORD, my heart is not haughty,
Nor mine eyes lofty:
Neither do I exercise myself in
Great matters, or in things too high for me.
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself,
As a child that is weaned of his mother: My soul is even as a weaned child.
Let Israel hope in the LORD
From henceforth and for ever. ~ Psalms 131 KJB

While we keep our feet on the ground, walk in humility and give praise to the Lord, our God shows His power through these broken vessels. As our flaws mend, those with eyes to see – see. As our Lord, Jesus Christ, quenches the thirst of those around us through His Living Waters, those with ears to hear – hear.

I will praise You with my whole heart:
Before the gods will I sing praise unto You.
I will worship toward Your holy temple, and praise Your name for Your lovingkindness and for Your truth:
For You have magnified Your word above all Your name.
In the day when I cried You answered me,
And strengthened me with boldness and strength in my soul. ~ Psalms 138 KJB

When we give praise to God and when we seek His face, first, in all we do our God responds. Our Lord and Master does not leave us standing on the side of the road as so many people in our lives have done. No, Jesus Christ, walks with us, beside us, around us and in us to bring forth the Holy Spirit Power and Guidance to shine like His child. His child whom He anointed, whom He called His own and whom He lifts up for the world to see. We just don’t believe it.

From Psalms 138 David goes into Psalms 139. If we accepted the whole inspired Word of God written in Psalms 139 our lives would be 100% different than how we live. Those with eyes to see and ears to hear would walk in Jesus Christ with every thought, with every breath, in all His strength and with every beat of our heart. We would not want for anything, we would know He is going to provide at the very moment we need something.

Gods grace, mercy, strength and power are encapsulated in one verse of Psalms 139 and tells us, quiet clearly, that God has everything for us, about us and in us that we need.

Where can I go from Your Spirit?
Or where can I flee from Your presence? ~ Psalms 139:7 KJB

It is our responsibility to see, find, the Beauty of God in all aspects of our life. It is when we seek His beauty in the middle of the deepest darkness of our life, the Light of God will shine bright. The Light of the Lord, Jesus Christ, will be made known. The beauty of God will not hide from us if we seek it.

If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me;
Even the night shall be light about me.
Yes, the darkness hides not from You; But the night shines as the day:
The darkness and the light are both alike to You. ~ Psalms 139:11-12 KJB

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
