The Glory That Should Follow…

The Glory That Should Follow…

When we humble ourselves we can hear all manner of things that were, things that are and things to yet to be. When we humble ourselves we will bow down before Jesus Christ and study the Bible to know what we need to apply to our lives to draw nearer, to replicate and better understand our Christ identity. When we humble ourselves…

Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you: searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow. Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. ~ 1 Peter 1:10-12 KJB

As the Prophets announced the coming grace, we now have the evidence of their hope, of their proclamation. We can receive grace of Jesus Christ or we can turn away from the Glory of God, we have been given free will. That doesn’t mean that it has gone away from us, the perfect love of Jesus Christ still remains for those of us who believe and for those who have turned away. Even those blind to the Truth, the Truth did not change. The Truth of the Greatest Love did not leave them. No…He is still there because nothing can remove Jesus Christ from our life.

Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ; as obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: but as He which has called you is holy, so you be holy in all manner of conversation [and conduct]; because it is written, Be you holy; for I am holy. ~ 1 Peter 1:13-16 KJB

Nothing can change this, nothing can take it away. As we marvel at how His grace, His love flows through our heart and we bow before this perfect love, we find, more and more, our heart, mind and soul seek more conformity to His will. Our Ambassadorship of the Kingdom becomes our desire.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
