Wise For Salvation Through Faith…

When we look around in this world we can see two very distinct situations unfolding. On the one hand we see precisely, to the letter, what Timothy describes in his brilliant second letter…

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away! ~ II Timothy 3:1-5 NKJB

We also see such revival as the world has never known. The Middle East is rejoicing for the Lord, Africa, the entire continent, is rejoicing for the Lord, Eastern Europe is rejecting all aspects of the “developed world” and turning back to the Lord. Everywhere you look, with a couple of exceptions, one can see and hear the Lord is on the move. Our Savior is changing lives on a scale that may be unknown. The King of kings seems to be setting the table for something that is unknown.

But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. ~ II Timothy 3:14-17 NKJB

One can feel the Power, the Strength and the Beauty of Jesus Christ in the awe inspiring message that was made manifest through the hands of Timothy. If ever there was a time to draw nearer to Jesus Christ, that time is now. Yes, this world is coming to a close but the One about to be unveiled will bring such an unknown joy to the believers heart they will be transformed in ways this world has never seen.

For those with eyes to see and ears to hear we can already see it happening. As beauty arises and takes its place in this world, the ugly fights back with all it has to offer. Beauty and Love, always, always, always win. Darkness can not survive if there exist the tiniest of Light that shines.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
