I Will Dwell In Them And Walk Among Them…

We judge and then we will be judged in the same manner. Great. When we walk down the street and someone is imposing, threatening with blood in their eyes is it wrong to judge their actions could mean harm? Should that person be approached? Should we deliberately place ourselves, our families, especially our small children, in harms way because we don’t feel we should judge others? Nonsense. We should judge, then move as quickly as possible out of harms way. “Harm” being someone that is imposing, threatening with blood in their eyes!

Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? ~ 2 Corinthians 6:14 NKJB

Well, from here, that sounds like judging situations and others.

And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said:
“I will dwell in them
And walk among them.
I will be their God,
And they shall be My people.” ~ 2 Corinthians 6:15-16 NKJB

It would be impossible to make it any clearer. No one likes to look upon their neighbor with a harsh view, however, at times we must. We should be cleansing our house, cleansing our community of unrighteousness.

Not too long ago this was a no-brainer. People respected the law, and those that didn’t were removed from the community. Our lives were allowed to move closer, deeper with God. Our lives were allowed to speak freely of our love for our Savior, our Lord, Jesus Christ. With this Liberty granted from God, all the other doors of opportunity, love, freedom and strength were all open. We were not ashamed of who we are, how we lived and how we raised our children because we were doing these things in the sight of God Almighty with the guidance and comfort of the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.

It’s not complicated.

Therefore
“Come out from among them
And be separate, says the Lord.
Do not touch what is unclean,
And I will receive you.”
“I will be a Father to you,
And you shall be My sons and daughters,
Says the Lord Almighty.” ~ 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 NKJB

When did we stop reading the actual words in the Holy Bible? When did we stop accepting the Living Word of God as Truth for our lives? This is when our communities began falling apart. This is when our families structure began to crumble. This is when our society began rotting from the inside, in secret.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
