OUR CHAOTIC WORLD – JESUS CHRIST, SECOND COMING, PRAYER by Randolph Jason for Gospel News Network
After a long hiatus from producing videos we dusted off our camera and microphone and invited a long time friend and colleague, Producer CJ, CJ OMC, to sit down for a conversation about current events through the lens of our shared faith. It was a first for either of us. The conversation is lively, upbeat and informative. It went a little longer than either of us anticipated but we feel it is time well spent.
If you have looked around at what’s happening in Ukraine and the impact on our neighborhood you already know we need to keep Jesus close by and the Holy Spirit to speak to our heart. We have an opportunity before us that is unprecedented in history. We can actually influence what happens next in our world. Through the power of collective prayer and the power of collective action in the name of Jesus Christ, we can take back our country. We can stand before the mountain that is before us and command it to move and the strength of Jesus Christ running through our heart, mind and soul that mountain will move. That mountain will have no choice in the matter, it will move by the command of Jesus Christ. ( More below Donations ↓↓↓ )
Who wouldn’t want to be part of something like that? Who wouldn’t want to be able to tell their grandchildren, honestly, “yes, I was there.” Well, you are here and the time is now.
When do you start the prayer circle within the HOA, the civic group, the business circle, the church small/life/community group (whatever your church calls it)? Is today a good day to make a couple of phone calls? Is today the right time for your life to change? Is today, this moment, big enough for you to participate? You know, saving the world starts with making your bed. Saving the world begins with sweeping the porch. Or making a phone call.
If you don’t think the devil is working overtime you should turn off the TV and look around. Pop into the local public school and see what’s on the agenda – that is if they will allow you in the school for such a purpose. Go to the nearest homeless shelter and volunteer to serve food, help with gathering needed supplies or other activity that places you squarely in the community you live. Volunteer to work with people in recovery, especially if you have gone through a recovery program yourself, or you have a family member that struggles with addictive behavior. Do something.
That’s what this conversation is about. We discuss what is happening but we discuss what we are doing. We discuss the “what” instead of the “why”. We discuss the “how to” instead of the “maybe”.
