The Righteous With The Wicked…

The Righteous With The Wicked…

Are we to pray to God for others? Are we to pray to God for ourselves? Are we to pray without ceasing? We are to pray with every breath. We are to pray for all our brother and sisters in Christ that are around us, far from us and those that not only love us, but for those that hate us as well.

Should we speak boldly before the Lord, should we speak directly to God as though we are speaking with our spouse, our child or a neighbor? Why wouldn’t we? Did Abraham not speak directly to the Lord and challenge His plans for Sodom and Gomorrah as God Almighty had just told Abraham, directly, the people in Sodom and Gomorrah sin is great?

Heavenly Father, God Almighty we boldly come before You in this day seeking Your guidance. We boldly come before You asking Your help in what is surely out of balance. The forces of evil have wrecked our livelihood and stolen all we had. Father God, we adjusted, we prayed and we cried out to Jesus Christ, to You, Father God. We have even spoken of our unbelief.

Far be it from You to do such a thing, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous and the wicked are treated alike. Far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth deal justly?” So the Lord said, “If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare the whole place on their account.” And Abraham replied, “Now behold, I have ventured to speak to the Lord, although I am but dust and ashes. Suppose the fifty righteous are lacking five, will You destroy the whole city because of five?” And He said, “I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there.” ~ Genesis 18:25-28 NASB95

Does not Abraham continue to challenge God regarding the wicked vs the righteous until God arrives at 10 among the entire city? We are not seeking wealth, we are seeking our place in our household. As the leader of this house there should be a means of producing an income. Father God, this is Your venture. This is what You have said to do. The space has been made, the calendar cleared in order to share Your Word among the people.

What You, Father God, have done to this point is beyond belief, but there is no revenue. Where is the revenue to come from this project? When will this, Your project, pay the bills?

We are not asking for wealth, we are asking for enough revenue to keep the roof over our head and health insurance paid up-to-date / mortgage and health insurance. Surely Your strength is greater than google. Surely Your ability is far more than we could ever produce.

Then he said, “Oh may the Lord not be angry, and I shall speak only this once; suppose ten are found there?” And He said, “I will not destroy it on account of the ten.” As soon as He had finished speaking to Abraham the Lord departed, and Abraham returned to his place. ~ Genesis 18:32-33 NASB95

Father in Heaven above all our lives, above all the world, we cry out to You for Your help and guidance.

In Jesus Christ loving name we pray. Amen Amen Amen
