What Has Passed By…

What Has Passed By…

As each day passes into the next we see our labor in the past, never in the future. Yes, we can plan our labor, but we can not see the fruit, only God can see the fruit of the labor that is harvested tomorrow.

He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:11 NASB95

We move through this life with our ups and downs, our rights and wrongs and lefts and rights. Everything that was is past, everything that is is new and everything to come is in Gods hands, not ours. This is the reason we should ensure that as our thoughts begin to manifest in our hand that we are moving in a direction that is pleasing to God. We should keep the love of God in the forefront of our thoughts, – seek the Kingdom of God first – keeps our mind in a place that gives us a better opportunity to do the Works our Lord would have us to do and not the work we believe should be done. Usually, the two things run contrary one to the other.

I know that everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take from it, for God has so worked that men should fear Him. That which is has been already and that which will be has already been, for God seeks what has passed by. ~ Ecclesiastes 3:14-15 NASB95

God stitched together our lives while we were in our mothers womb. He made our lives to be in the order in which He made. God knew our names before we were, God knew we would need grace while we were still babes feasting upon the milk of our youth. Our labor can be planned but it can not be known until it has passed, for God seeks that which has passed.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of God, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
