Put On The Imperishable…

Put On The Imperishable…

Let us take care of what we have, that God may provide the increase and we have more to share with others. Let the seeds of faith and love multiply within us that we may spread the Gospel upon fertile soil that it may increase by one-hundred fold.

With the Love of God in our hearts we can proceed in this day. With the Living Waters flowing through us, through our veins, we must share the name of Jesus Christ with those we come in contact with in this day. We are to first seek the Kingdom of God and He will provide the increase in our lives that more and more flows through us and fills others. When the love of God falls upon us, do we run away or do we stand firm and allow it to wash over us? When the enemy stands in our face to we run away or do we stand firm in the Love of Jesus Christ with the Holy Spirit providing the Comfort for our heart?

For this perishable must put on the imperishable, and this mortal must put on immortality. But when this perishable will have put on the imperishable, and this mortal will have put on immortality, then will come about the saying that is written, “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law; but thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. ~ 1 Corinthians 15:53-57 NASB95

When the table is set before our enemy a feast is at hand. We rest in the name of Jesus Christ and the still small voice speaks to us, comforting us as the battle is already won. The enemy has long been defeated, we just need to remember this when things go sideways and simply ask ourselves – did things really go sideways or was God to bring our attention back to Him? We should be jealous for Him, jealous for His attention.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
