Sanctify The Lord God…

Sanctify The Lord God…

If we follow Jesus Christ, who can harm; what can harm us? If we believe in the very depths of our soul that Jesus Christ was born, walked this earth, was crucified and raised from the dead who or what can bring us harm? We have all that we need, right there. Literally, everything else is a gift from God; making everything without exception a gift from God.

And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good? But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.” But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the having a good conscience, that when they defame you as evildoers, those who revile your good conduct in Christ may be ashamed. For it is better, if it is the will of God, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. ~ 1 Peter 3:13-17 NKJB

We should be ready to stand in the face of what ails us. We should be ready to say, with conviction, that God will prevail and while we feel the flame we will not suffer the sing of the fire. We will walk with Jesus Christ and drink deeply of the Living Waters. Forever keeping eyes on our Savior, forever keeping our eyes upon His ways.

Let us pray throughout the day and the night. Let our hearts be filled with gladness and joy for the Lord. Let us speak of His goodness in our lives and all the promises that Jesus Christ showers our lives with everyday. Let us remind others that our mercies are renewed every morning. Let us cry out to our Lord as we place His name, the name of Jesus Christ, over our lives and over all the earth. Let us rejoice with our brothers and sisters as we walk through this life. Make His name, the name of Jesus Christ, make His name known to all. Let the Power of His name drive home the love in our hearts, the strength in our muscles and the breath in our lungs.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
