Comparing Spiritual Things with Spiritual…
Good morning Bondservant of the Holy One, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Father God, let us come before You not as a tyrannical child, but as a humble servant in need of Your healing touch. Father God, it is Your name that has all Power. It is Your Word that provides the strength for our bones in this day. It is by Your mercies, Father God, made new each morning, that shower our lives with grace and forgiveness. Father God, as we bow before You and only You, we look to Your Word for our daily bread. We look to Your Son, Jesus Christ, as the only hope in a broken world. We raise Your name, Father God, over our lives and cry from the roof tops of Your amazing grace and healing touch.
Father God, it is on a bended knee that we seek Your guidance. It is on a bended knee that we ask for direction. It is on a bended knee that we knock upon the door that holds the Wisdom for our life. Father God, these mighty tools You freely offer require a clean vessel to operate. Father God, would You search our mind and rebuke all the noise from the devil, rebuke it all in the name of Jesus Christ. Father if You are willing we ask that as our mind is transformed that You would leave no space void, but fill the whole of our mind with the Holy Spirit, Your Spirit, Father.
These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ. ~ 1 Corinthians 2:13-16 NKJB
Father God, raise up Erik from this bed. Give him peace in his heart and a hedge of protection around this hospital. Lift Erik’s spirit to a new place high above the world. Strengthen his lungs, his legs, arms and back. Erik is, Father God, the Mighty Warrior of Faith that You have made. Your Word, Father, breathes life into this vessel and makes it whole. It is by Your Hand, Father God, that molded Erik and made him to oversee FirstFruits. Father God, You also gave Erik, Ms. Christy. Fill her heart with Your love and compassion. Fill her soul with the Holy Spirit’s Comfort and Counsel in this day and all the days to come. Place a hedge of protection around FirstFruits and the roads traveled to and from this hospital. Father God, touch the hearts of the care takers in this hospital. Let them know You are real, You are present and You are their hands to heal Your sons and daughters. Let it be so in this day and all the days forevermore.
In Jesus Christ loving name we pray. Amen Amen Amen
