As the manufactured pandemic continues to rage around the globe, we see all sorts of people lashing out, protesting, striking, picketing, and issuing the call for ‘freedom and liberty’ to be preserved, none of which is a bad thing per se. But here’s a question, where’s the worldwide revival of the word of God, where are the preachers and ministers of the God of Abraham out in the streets and calling for the lost to get saved before it’s everlasting too late? Where is the word of God? These are all rhetorical questions, the pulpits have gone silent because there is a famine spreading across the world, a famine for hearing the words of the LORD.
“Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it. In that day shall the fair virgins and young men faint for thirst.” Amos 8:11-13 (KJB)
