We Ask With Expectation…
Father God, as we lift Your name above all names and place You above our lives and all of the earth we thank You for renewing our mercies every morning. Father God, it is You who loved us first and it is You that calls us by name. We sing Your praises and walk in the Light that shines from Heaven and Lights all the earth. Father God, it is Your Word that fills our souls, that fills our heart and sustains our life. Father God, it is You that paid our debt, that when the Work was complete Your Son, Jesus Christ whispered to the whole of this world – it is finished. You, Father God, spoke it and we believe it.
Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death. For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. ~Romans 8:1-4 NASB95
Father we humbly come before seeking Your Strength, not for ourselves but our Brother in Christ, Your son, Erik. We ask Father that You lift him from this bed and make him to carry his mat home. Let the Power of Your Great and Mighty Love fill Erik’s lungs, fill his soul and fill his whole body. Lift up Your daughter, she is a mighty Warrior of Faith, Father, she has called out , cried out and drawn nearer to You with each passing breath. Wrap her in Love and go before her to Light the path clear, Father. Let Your Mighty name be known through out all the world. Let the name of Jesus Christ ring from every nation, every roof top and from every tongue. Let all who are near feel Your presence – let Your presence fall upon every heart in this building, every person within the sound of this voice. Let them shout the name of Jesus.
Father God, we are humbled by Your awesome works in Erik. Father, we ask with expectation that You would continue Strengthening Erik and let his faith in Your awesome raw Power lift him from this bed, let it be so, Father, let is be so.
Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
