Infused In The Word…

Infused In The Word…

Having been filled with the Holy Spirit, touched by the Holy Spirit do those sons and daughters not walk in the Father? Does the Father not walk in those sons and daughters? When we receive the Holy Spirit, God is now in us. That will not change. We are now infused with the Word. We are to share this Truth with the world so those that are lost may be found in Christ. That’s the whole deal.

If you had known Me, you would have known My Father also; from now on you know Him, and have seen Him.”
Philip said to Him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been so long with you, and yet you have not come to know Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father is in Me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on My own initiative, but the Father abiding in Me does His works. Believe Me that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; otherwise believe because of the works themselves. ~John 14:7-11 NASB95

Philip is exactly like most people today. Unsure, do not really believe the Words that were spoken by Jesus Christ, do not believe those Words are alive and will be manifest in their own lives, even though Jesus Christ says they will be manifest in your life if you believe in Me and if you come before the Father in belief of Me. What is so difficult to understand and accept in those words? Why do we read these Words from God and not believe them? Why do we not live them?

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.
“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. ~John 14-12-15 NASB95

Either there is something missing or that is super simple to understand. Accepting, believing and living in this way is a whole other thing; but those Words spoken, right there. by Jesus Christ, could not be made any easier to understand.

What commandments? We already know the greatest commandments that Jesus Christ spoke of – right?

“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?” And He said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.”~Matthew 22:36-40 NASB95

If it were the Gospel News Network Editor speaking these words it would be in question and we should not listen, follow or accept. The Words above are in red. This is the universal sign – universal sign – that these Words were actually spoken by Jesus Christ. The Words in red are the Words that carry more weight than any other words in the history of the world. If we can not accept, believe and live by these Words why do we attend, assemble in a church building on Sunday? Why? Why do we proclaim we are a Christian when the basics of Christianity are not accepted, believed and used as our guiding wisdom? Why? If these Words are infused in our soul, in our being, in our beliefs – what are we doing? What does it mean to be a Christian?

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
