The Great Experiment…

The Great Experiment…

What would happen if a person began reading the Holy Bible as a guide to a lab experiment? With the Holy Bible being filled with antidotes, problems / solutions and every type of human experience known, why not read the Holy Bible from a different view point? Why not consider it, why not try it? If someone says this is blasphemy they are going to have to explain why that is in detail and small short words so it is easily understood, because it doesn’t seem to be anything expect another way of breathing in the Word of God to help someone get closer to God, Advance the Kingdom and make disciples in the world. Because that is what the Holy Bible is about. Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs – all explain our life and if we use it as a manual we can change the world – one person at a time, millions upon millions of times a day.

Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ ~Isiah 41:10 NKJB

Try to walk fearless one day – just one day – just try it and see what happens. Living completely fearless is a true challenge.

When we break down the Holy Bible and begin breathing in one book, one chapter or even a single verse it begins to paint a picture that God wants us to see. The picture in our mind, the Mind of Christ, is just for us – it is not for anyone else. No one can see what we see, because God wants us to see and experience it, not the world. If God wanted the world to see it He would paint the picture across the sky. When we dive deeply into the Word and allow it wash over our entire life everything begins to look different – everything.

Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened
And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. ~Isiah 35:5 NKJB

How often does Jesus speak of making the blind to see?

Jesus said to her, “Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” ~John 11:40 NKJB

What about this one…where Paul is sharing his testimony before the Caesarean high counsel and king Agrippa. Paul is recounting his conversion from Saul to Paul and what Jesus Christ told him at that moment…

But get up and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things in which I will appear to you; rescuing you from the Jewish people and from the Gentiles, to whom I am sending you, to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’ ~Acts 26:16-18 NASB95

Do we believe Jesus Christ will appear before us and we will see the glory of God? How do we find out? We try it. When we fail, as in many experiments, we try again. It is reported that Thomas Edison failed more than 1,000 times before discovering the light bulb. How many times are you willing to try to hear from Jesus Christ, to see through the eyes of Jesus Christ? How many?

Why not apply what is in the Holy Bible and see what happens.

Either the Scripture is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
