Time For Boldness…

“Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? ~Matthew 6:25 NKJB

Who likes a coward? Not someone who has been attacked, beaten and is unable to stand-up, but an actual coward? Anyone like this type of person? Does God support this type of person? God says to go and He will lead the way. Not only will He lead, God will be by our side and God will even pick up the rear guard. This is why people shy away from cowards.

Then the sons of Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord gave them into the hands of Midian seven years. The power of Midian prevailed against Israel. Because of Midian the sons of Israel made for themselves the dens which were in the mountains and the caves and the strongholds. For it was when Israel had sown, that the Midianites would come up with the Amalekites and the sons of the east and go against them. ~Judges 6:1-3 NASB95

God does not send the Amalekites and the sons of the east against Israel, only the Midians. Yet, Israel allowed – coward – these others to ravage their homes, produce and livestock – leaving them destitute.

God told them He was with them against these others but Israel refused to listen.

and I said to you, “I am the Lord your God; you shall not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you live. But you have not obeyed Me.” ’ ” ~Judges 6:10 NASB95

Gideon, whom God would provide his identity in the Kingdom as “mighty man of valour“, still confronted God and is challenging God in the face of God’s Power, Strength and love for His children!

And there came an angel of the LORD, and sat under an oak which was in Ophrah, that pertained unto Joash the Abi-ezrite: and his son Gideon threshed wheat by the winepress, to hide it from the Midianites. And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour. And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites. ~Judges 6:11-13 KJB

Is this not what we do on an hourly, daily, weekly, even minute of every day basis? “God, do you not know what these liberals are doing in the schools? – in the movie houses? – on the computers?” Is this not our stance when it comes to Critical Race Theory, #falsePride month and the list goes on and on?

When do we step into the fold to save our children from the Liberals of the west, the media in the East and the academia spreading like wildfire across the land? When do we call upon Jesus Christ to send the Holy Spirit to us, to help us find our Christ identity and conquer these that are a multitude like locust (grasshopper) as being without number?

If we stay in the field, if we continually make new disciples,  while more and more draw near to Jesus Christ can these from West or the ones from the East take our produce, steal our land and enslave our children? No they can not, says the Lord because He is with us.

What sign is needed to know that Jesus Christ is with us, for us, leading us and, most importantly, lives in us?

Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
