First Love…

First Love…

“And they shall teach My people the difference between the holy and the unholy, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean. ~Ezekiel 44:23 NKJB

When we are on the edge of greatness all things look different. When the breakthrough is close at hand words change, people hear things differently and we see people in a different light. The people we see in a different light see us differently as well.

Our world is about change, those with a heart to feel can feel it. Those with eyes to see can see it and those with a mind focused on Christ know it. This change is so close the whole earth is beginning to shake. The sounds from no where are appearing again, people standing up for one reason or another and the air we breathe is somehow different. God is certainly on the move and we need to be prepared for anything to happen.

We need to keep our mission simple. We need to remain focused on God’s living word and focused on His voice, visions placed in our heart and in our mind and we need to say “yes” all day long. In doing so we will draw much closer to God, especially in the coming weeks. Remain vigilante. Remain with God with every breathe. Remain with God with every step. Be aware of the devil, for he is a ready to take advantage of such ripe fields.

How do we keep our vessel filled with oil? How do we stay ready to meet the bridegroom? What do we need to know and what do we need to do to stay close, to stay filled and draw ever closer? How does one run out and purchase more oil when the shops are shuttered for the day?

“I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars; and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love. ~Revelation 2:2-4 NKJB

We are His sons and daughters and we are about to be put on notice and called for a purpose.

And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. ~Matthew 25:8-10 NKJB

Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
