It’s Your Breath…

It’s Your Breath…

It’s Your breath
in our lungs
So, we pour out our praise to You only

It’s Your breath…
Great Are You Lord by All Sons and Daughters

We breathe in the Word of God and the Holy Spirit fills us, walks with us and guides our day. The gifts from God are abundant and rich, as long as we see them. How often does one stop in their day to thank God for the very breathe in their lungs?

All of us have the ability to prophesize that does’t make us all prophets. We all have the ability to teach, but that doesn’t make us all teachers. We all have gifts from God that we are to use. As we strengthen our ties with the Word of God the more of God will flow through us. It’s like the vine and branch.

I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples. ~John 15:5-8 NKJB

The Branch, Jesus Christ, provides the sap that nurtures the vine. If the vine is well grounded to the Branch the flow of sap will be greater and the more fruit it will bear. Conversely, the opposite is true when the vine has a light touch with the Branch. The flow is low and fruit is little.

“As for Me,” says the Lord, “this is My covenant with them: My Spirit who is upon you, and My words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart from your mouth, nor from the mouth of your descendants, nor from the mouth of your descendants’ descendants,” says the Lord, “from this time and forevermore.” ~Isiah 59:21 NKJB

If we are descendants of Abraham, this covenant is as strong today as when the Lord first spoke it.

You are sons of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying to Abraham, ‘And in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.’  ~Acts 3:25 NKJB

As we grow deeper and deeper in the Lord, finding the path to become narrower with each passing day, the Lord showers our lives with more favor. As He showers us we glorify Him and a beautiful cycle begins to emerge. We become more reliant upon the Lord and He in turn provides us with more and more responsibility and as we spread the Gospel, Advance the Kingdom, we find more and more of His children coming to glory. We find more and more of His children bowing down. We find more and more of His children saying…

And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.” ~Luke 11:4 NKJB

Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
