Be-Causal Or Be Reactive

Be-Causal Or Be Reactive

pioneer – To go before and prepare or open a way for.

If you are a pioneer you are are preparing the way for others; you are opening up new ways of doing something, thinking about something or looking at something. You are in affect, being causal regarding your steps. You are in fact causing something new to happen, something to change or cause a new view of something looked at for a lifetime.

I believe I am created in the image of God, God is causal, God is not reactionary, God is causal and God is a creator. So, if I’m in that image then I also can create. I can cause things to come into being.

As a human we can not cause things to come into being from nothing but we can take things that exist and put them together in new ways and cause new things to come out of that. ~Jamie Winship

This is not magic, voodoo or blasphemy. This is what we, as humans, do. We look at things and how they operate and find ways to make them work better, faster, stronger and more efficiently. This is taking the existing, pairing it with the mind of God and causing something new to come into being.

What about our life? Can we not do the same thing with how we live and our relationship with Jesus Christ?

We can all do this. The question is – why do we not do this everyday? When do we take something that exist, our life, and pair it with the mind of God and cause something new to come into existence? Why do we not do this? Do we not believe the Word of God?

There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. ~Ephesians 4:4-6 NKJB

Please breathe in the words of the three verses above. The Word of God is alive in those words that are speaking directly to each of us, including you, the reader.

We can either cause new things, living things, hopeful things, beautiful things to manifest in our world or we can react to all the negative things happening in our world. God gives us free will or we can chose His will.  When Saul was on the ground hearing from Jesus Christ, Saul didn’t cry out in anger, he sought direction, Jesus’ will,

So he, trembling and astonished, said, “Lord, what do You want me to do?
Then the Lord said to him, “Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do. ~Acts 9:6 NKJB

God knows our every need, we need to know what He wants us to do and what He wants us to know.

Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
