Saved By His Blood…

Saved By His Blood…

We are saved by His blood and redeemed by His love for us.

Would you, yes you reading this, would you sacrifice your only child so that another may live? What if the other person being spared was a convicted criminal? What if the person being spared was not just a convicted criminal but a criminal convicted of the most heinous crime you can imagine?

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. ~John 3:16 NKJB

The Son of Man, the Son of God, the King of kings. The great I Am, the alpha and the omega. He loved us first otherwise we would never know these things. He loved us first so that we would have the strength to stand against and all evil. He loved us first to teach us to love one another.

Yes, we are saved by His blood but we are redeemed by His love for us. We should live our days attempting to show that love to others. We should spend our days attempting to walk in His footsteps and spreading His message of hope, encouragement and love to as many as possible.

For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. ~John 3:17 NKJB

Deities of every stripe throughout history have sat a top the mountain and ask the people to climb the mountain to meet them. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came down to live with us, not just meet us, but to actually live with us, be with us, teach us and how we can glorify Him for the grace and mercy He showers our lives every single day.

Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
