Glory, Glory, Glory…

Glory, Glory, Glory…

From whom do all blessings flow? Whom created all things of the earth? Can any man create a rose, a single breath of air or a woman from a rib?

We walk around as if we are special or we know things or have created this or that. We did nothing. We are merely a vehicle for His glory; His honor. Those that believe in Jesus Christ should live in the humility of this truth.

He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. ~ John 3:18 NKJB

When the thought arises that we created this or that and we begin to own those thoughts we have turned our back to God. This is the moment which we should turn to Jesus Christ and cry out His name and beg mercy. We are not worthy to carry His sandals, but He lifts us to unknown heights and then we shout to the world, look at me… look at me.

And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus. This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief. ~I Timothy 1:12-15 NKJB

We shout as if we have done great things instead of shouting how God used us to bring beauty into the world. God deserve all the glory. We should desire to shout about His glorious ways in our life. We should lift His name above all names in all things because He is worthy.

Father, God, help me with my unbelief. Release me from this sin-filled life and strengthen me through Your Sons holy name, Jesus Christ. Amen

Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
