Glory To God In The Highest…

Glory To God In The Highest…

It’s Christmas morning and the house is quiet. The Holy Spirit fills this place and our hearts rejoice in the celebration of the birth of our Lord. We place His name above all names and bow before Him on bended knee. We are not worthy of His grace and mercy, though He showers our life with all manners of blessing untold. By His stripes our sins in this day, and in all days past, are forgiven. Our King, was carried, not by a grand chariot or in the finest of automobiles, but on two separate occasions, our King was carried by a donkey.

Visions of our Lord are plentiful in these days. His love fills this house and fills our hearts. What are we doing to carry our King, exalt our King and raise praises to our King in this day and all the days to come?

He is our hope, our Light and the love in this world. We humbly ask to be used aa a vessel of reflection, a vessel that others see His goodness, His love and His great works. When others look upon us our prayer is they see Jesus Christ and not the person standing before them. We are nothing without Him, but have the riches of heaven so long as we carry the King in our heart, in our soul and in our mind.

Blessed is the Lord God of Israel,
For He has visited and redeemed His people,
And has raised up a horn of salvation for us
In the house of His servant David,
As He spoke by the mouth of His holy prophets,
Who have been since the world began,
That we should be saved from our enemies
And from the hand of all who hate us,
To perform the mercy promised to our fathers
And to remember His holy covenant,
The oath which He swore to our father Abraham:
To grant us that we,
Being delivered from the hand of our enemies,
Might serve Him without fear,
In holiness and righteousness before Him all the days of our life.
“And you, child, will be called the prophet of the Highest;
For you will go before the face of the Lord to prepare His ways,
To give knowledge of salvation to His people
By the remission of their sins,
Through the tender mercy of our God,
With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us;
To give light to those who sit in darkness and the shadow of death,
To guide our feet into the way of peace.”
So the child grew and became strong in spirit, and was
in the deserts till the day of his manifestation to Israel. !Luke 1:67-80 NKJB

To carry a King in our heart in our soul and in our mind until the day we are made manifest in His presence and see His face, oh Lord of all we lift You above all else, it is our love for You that is first in our life, for without You, we are nothing, we have nothing and we will become nothing more than a bag of bones chasing sin after sin.

In this day, our King is born, the Light of the World began shining and will never be put under a basket. It is inexhaustible in its beauty, love and illumination of the world. The King of kings is born and we should thank God for sending us the Savior of the world.

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.
For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior who is Christ the Lord. And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying:
“Glory to God in the highest,
And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” ~Luke 2:8-13 NKJB
