Adoption As Sons…
Having been born again a new creature is amazing in ways that can not be described. One would think everyone would want to have a life renewed. How do we reach those that have not been adopted? Do they know they want to be adopted by Jesus Christ?
Living so many years in sin – just a garden-variety drunk, liar, thief and all around scumbag – this life is almost like a dream. It’s as if…not as if, but in reality a new creature is sitting here typing these words. All glory and praise to God Most High, for this life would not be without Jesus Christ forgiving my sins and the Holy Spirit anointing this soul.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, 4just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love, having predestined us to adoption as sons by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved. ~Ephesians 1:3-6 NKJB
