All Over Our Lives…

Have you ever seen an angel? Have you ever spoken with an angel? Do angels from God exist? Do angels interact with us mortals?

A few years ago it would be difficult to recognize the person typing these words. The evidence, to be presented below, will show angels are real in every sense of the questions ask above.

Having papers presented just after arriving home from work, in December 2002, it would be the last night spent with a friend, who is no longer known. The shock of the situation was an unknown sensation. Drove to the nearest “watering hole” and after having a few, or more, the answer arrived. Drive to Chattanooga, from Nashville, at approximately 10pm. Seemed like the right thing to do after being at the watering hole for a few hours. It would be a shame to drive all that way without another six pack, so another six pack went along for the ride.

Upon arriving in Chattanooga, around midnight – 1am, it suddenly seemed like a really bad idea to be so far from home, especially after hours of heavy drinking carrying a ton of emotional baggage from being notified, just a few hours ago, of a divorce being in the works and not having anywhere to live. The only response was to drive back to Nashville and pick up another six pack for the trip home.

The first angel showed up, and there was never a glimpse of its face, behind the cash register selling the beer. Couldn’t tell you then can’t tell you now if it was male, female, asian, black, white or alien. The angel, whom was seen as an enemy for a long time, called the police, after selling the six pack and allowing the journey to continue. The journey had to continue for reasons outside of our knowledge base or understanding.

The second angel showed up with flashing blue lights to signal his arrival. At the time this angel was seen as another enemy. It would be about year and half before there would be any understanding of the angelic visit.

He promptly, and politely, ask about any drinking, ask about the beer in the front seat and the beer his partner picked up after seeing it fly out the passenger side window. All of which was, of course, denied.

This is where it becomes very clear this was in fact an angel from God addressing me as a child of God.

The officer gave me a choice. He said that I could either go to jail or allow his partner to drive my truck to the hotel just down the road where I could sleep it off. When was the last time you ever heard of such a situation? The officer explained to the person working the front desk of the hotel that if I left before a certain time he was to call and I wold be arrested for DUI. I didn’t leave until about 10am. I had nowhere to go nor anywhere to be, so, there was no need to be in a hurry.

God speaks to us, usually through other people. God can, of course, speak directly to us and He does if we clear the space for Him to do so.

God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; ~Hebrews 1:1-2 NKJB

Either the Gospel is divine inspiration, the Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
