Losing Connection…
When we lose connection with the Lord, our Savior Jesus Christ our heart, spirit and mind begin to wander off. They beginning acting as if they know something when, in fact, we learn very quickly we know nothing. There could be words that manifest in our mind that have been spoken in our presence nor have they been part of any thought process. This doesn’t mean it can’t and won’t appear.
The enemy is always prowling around and looking for cracks to infiltrate and when our prayer life slips, our Bible study wains the field is made ripe for the enemy to make a grand entrance – or perhaps a very subtle entrance in the form of a single word that has been spoken nor thought about for months or years.
But you, when you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. 7And when you pray, do not use vain repetitions as the heathen do. For they think that they will be heard for their many words. ~Matthew 6:6-7 NKJV
