Using Our Tools…
We are equipped with the greatest tool box ever conceived, the Holy Bible. Within it’s pages we find the ways and means to address every situation in life. Think about that. God, in His infinite wisdom put all the stories, all the miracles and all the scenarios surrounding life, death and life with Him in one book. The more time we spend studying, breathing in the Living Word of God the closer we become with Him. Isn’t that good news?
Therefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints, do not cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power which He worked in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in that which is to come. ~Ephesians 1:15-21 NKJB
Not only is the above a personal favorite, it spells out, in detail, how God feels about us, His children. When we spend time with Him, seek His face, ask of His council, knock at the door of His wisdom not only does Jesus Christ shower our lives with His love, He illuminates the path ahead. What more do we need? Our responsibility is to love Jesus Christ with all our heart, all our spirit and all our mind. Doing this while we pray for others and treat others as ourselves.
Either the Gospel is divine inspiration, the Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
