Standing Up For Jesus Christ Or Bowing Down To Government

Standing Up For Jesus Christ Or Bowing Down To Government by Randolph Jason for Gospel News Network

Are you preaching to a camera instead of people? If it’s a camera, well, is it really “taking back your life”? When does your house of worship stand up for Jesus Christ instead of bowing down to a tyrannical government? Asking for a friend.

After listening to the first few minutes of a church service earlier this morning, it became clear it was not only a waste of time it was something that shouldn’t even be labeled as Christian. The “pastor” referred to the King James Version of the Holy Bible as “archaic”. He was speaking to a camera, in an empty room, instead of addressing God’s children gathered together. Question for this so-called “pastor” if you’re hiding in your basement until the government says it’s okay to be human again is that leadership or servitude? Keep hiding in your basement and speaking to a camera instead of God’s children and we’ll find out very shortly what’s “archaic” and what’s up-to-date and prolific. Keep in mind King James Version (KJV) was around long before this so-called “pastor’s” arrival and will be around long past his departure.

Who are these so-called “pastors” that are springing up like kudzu after a rain? They have shown up, spread like weeds and it seems they are simply in it as a “job”. Do these people see it as a career instead of a calling? Are butts-in-seats and coins in the plate more important than Souls in heaven or lives glorifying God living a true Godly life? Where is the leadership?

The banner behind this person reads “take back your life” as he is standing in an empty room speaking to a camera!! What a mockery of the Lord. After just a very few minutes of hearing, and seeing, this non-sense the video was shut down.

There are dividing lines being drawn across the Christian community. It began a couple of decades ago when some churches wanted to embrace the sexually deviant members of the community. Now, there is another line being drawn with standing for Jesus Christ or bowing to tyranny. I chose standing / kneeling before Jesus Christ and turning my back on government. Who serves me and my family and who doesn’t? It’s really that simple. Our God given Liberty allows us to peaceful assembly and to worship in the way we chose. Government is charged with protecting this Liberty, not transforming it into their state authorized freedom.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. ~Matthew 7:21-23 KJV
According to Merriam-Webster dictionary the definition of “iniquity” is “gross injustice – wickedness” and “a wicked act or thing – sin” The NKJV Holy Bible substitutes the word “iniquity” with the word “lawlessness“, which means “not regulated by or based on law” and “not restrained or controlled by law – unruly”. If one compares the different versions of the Holy Bible to the King James Version it becomes clear that words, every word, is important. The words “iniquity” and “lawlessness” are not the same at all – quite different. In this situation we find, the KJV, points to something far more serious – “wickedness” seems to be on a completely different plain than “unruly”.
