He says healthy people should return to work immediately. He recommends that healthy individuals take vitamins A, C, and D, as well as iodine. Dr. Shiva points out that “third-world” countries Chad and Djibouti had only one COVID-19 infection and ZERO deaths. He suggests the reason is they have a more nutritious diet and they are out in the sun all day where they get lots of Vitamin D. This shows that lockdown is a counter-productive policy that undermines the immune system and the ability to defend itself.
However, the White House Corona Task Force insisted on an unprecedented lockdown that put millions of Americans out of work, closed business that cost the nation of $2 trillion dollars, closed schools, and required masks and social distancing. What would have happened if Americans had been advised to get sufficient vitamin C, sunshine, rest, exercise, and good nutrition?
