Expect The Lord…
Is it important that we expect the Lord to answer our prayers? What does it mean to expect the Lord to be present in our life – really, truly present? Do we expect to gaze upon the Lords beauty and ask Him questions? Will the Lord strengthen us as we wait for Him?
Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice!
Have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
When You said, “Seek My face,”
My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord, I will seek.” Psalm 27:7-8 NKJV
Until we own these words, believe these Words down deep in our soul we are nothing more than members of a “Jesus Appreciation Social Club”. Unless these Words, and all the Words of the Gospel and the Bible as a whole, hold deep seeded meaning in our life these Words will never, ever breathe life into our body. As soon as we accept these Words as the living, breathing manifestation of God these Words will come to life in us.

When Jesus Christ said “Follow me” what do you believe He actually meant? Is it more complicated than “Follow me” is there more to the phrase that we need to know or is it just that simple – “Follow me“?
Teach me Your way, O Lord,
And lead me in a smooth path, because of my enemies.
Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries;
For false witnesses have risen against me,
And such as breathe out violence.
I would have lost heart, unless I had believed
That I would see the goodness of the Lord
In the land of the living.
Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! Psalm 27:11-14 NKJV
The day we expect the Lord to breathe life into our lungs is the day the Lord will breathe life into our lungs, never before. That will be the greatest day in our life, we will be born again, a new creature, in the eyes of God.
If a person wants to know if Jesus Christ is the “real deal”, do what He says and find out. When He speaks, respond, when He says move, then move, when He says rest, then rest. Do what He says, follow His Words and let the world know how that works out. Expect the Lord to move in your life and to move life in you.
