I Know That You Are Good…

I Know That You Are Good…

I know that You are good
I know that You are kind
I know that You are so much more
Than what I leave behind… Big Daddy Weave

Earlier today this song came on the radio and an image appeared.

One person standing before another.

One of them holding a gun and pointing it at the other. The person having a gun pointed into his face begins saying these words to the person holding the gun – “I know that you are good. I know that you are kind. I know that you are so much more than what is left behind.” What a beautiful image! What a way to stop a violent act. What an incredible testimony to our Savior.

With our world in absolute chaos over the weekend this image may have actually played out. God may have sent this message to share someones testimony.

Yesterday was Pentecost Sunday and here in Middle Tennessee the sun was shining bright, God was looking down and the LIVE, outdoor church service was attended by some 300-400 people all worshipping, praying and raising the Lord high! It was a magnificent sight and a beautiful way of having the first service since Wuhan bat-stew flu appeared. The minister delivered a fiery sermon, from Acts 1 and explained how the church, this church body, would either change or dissolve. We, the body of Christ, could either follow Christ in a bold manner, carry Christ as a witness to our life and embrace the Holy Spirit or we could continue being a passive “consumer” Christian. “Consumer” Christians are being exposed at an ever increasing pace.

Pastor Barry made it clear that the church was under new management and the leader from this point forward would be Jesus Christ. He went on to explain what has happened, regarding shutting down the church, would never happen again because under the Leadership of Jesus Christ, we, the body of the saved, do not answer to societal norms, we do not answer to accepted behavior, we do not believe in unHoly marriage, we do not believe in the teachings of the State but in the teachings of Holy Scripture. We believe in the miracles of Jesus Christ, we believe in spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ, especially right where we stand and to all nations and we believe the Holy Spirit walks with us to guide our steps, speak through us and plant pure thoughts in our mind and heart.

Spread the Gospel! Shout it from the roof tops and invite the Holy Spirit to guide your heart, soul and mind. Make way for the King of kings to infiltrate you, your family and your home.

Acts 5 NKJV

And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people; (and they were all with one accord in Solomon’s porch. And of the rest durst no man join himself to them: but the people magnified them. And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women.) Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. There came also a multitude out of the cities round about unto Jerusalem, bringing sick folks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one. ~ Acts 5:12-16 KJB

In the image first painted above, the power of the Holy Trinity is very clear and not only was one life spared but another was saved. What made us stop believing these things really do happen?

Either the Gospel is the divine Word of God teaching us how to live and how to be a reflection of Him, or it’s nothing more than a historical account of events.
